March - April, 2005:

Perlaza-Claros exhibited his latest works of art at Whistle Stop Art Studios concurrently with two other artists, Josepha DI RADO and Ruth Ellen HOAG. See their website at www.WhistleStopArtStudios.com.

April to July, 2004:

M.A. Perlaza-Claros exhibited "Into the Funk Zone," an exciting new collection of charcoals, at Red's Cafe & Gallery near the Santa Barbara pier.

May, 2004:

M.A. Perlaza-Claros participated in a group exhibit, PULSE SB, a travelling art gallery of emerging artists from the Santa Barbara area.

March, 2004:

M.A. Perlaza-Claros's paintings were selected to be exhibited for the month of May at the saks Fifth Avenue 2004 "Arts Primavera Extravaganza" in Santa Barbara, CA.

November, 2003:

During the Santa Barbara Studio Artists sponsored OPEN STUDIO TOUR 2003, M.A.P.C. exhibited his artwork in the studio Nov 9th and 10th.

October 1 - November 30, 2003:

M.A. Perlaza-Claros exhibited a new collection of charcoals and oil pastels titled "FULL BRAIN EXCURSION: From the Left Brain to the Right Brain" at the Optical Underground, 280 Sutter St. @ Grant in downtown San Francisco (415-982-5106). This was Perlaza-Claros's first San Francisco exhibit, and it met with rave reviews from visitors and passersby alike.

October 16 - November 4, 2003:

Perlaza-Claros travelled through Africa (Kenya, Tanzania and Pemba Island) to observe, sketch and brainstorm ideas while on a photographic safari observing wildlife in the Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Serengeti and Lake Manyara National Parks. The last 6 days were spent scuba diving near Zanzibar and in and around Pemba Island, in the Indian Ocean.

February, 2003:

The SOhO exhibit "THE HUMAN FIGURE;..." was extended from January through the whole month of February. Congratulations !!

January, 2003:

M.A. Perlaza-Claros presented his exhibit entitled "THE HUMAN FIGURE; Imperfections pregnant with perfectly fascinating possibilities !!" at SOhO in Santa Barbara, CA. He showed his work in the Main Room of SOhO throughout the month of January.
